2011 Release #1WORLD-CLASS PROFESSIONAL TENNIS RETURNS TO NATOMAS RACQUET CLUB IN SACRAMENTO USTA Men's $100,000 Challenger begins October 1 SACRAMENTO, September 3, 2011- The USTA announced that the Natomas Racquet Club in Sacramento will host the 3rd Annual USTA Men's $100,000 Challenger October 1 - 9. This tournament, a USTA Pro Circuit event is the largest tennis event in Northern California and attracts many players fresh from the U.S. Open. The field for the USTA Men's $100,000 Challenger in Sacramento will feature 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams. Players ranked as high as No. 50 in the world typically compete in Challenger-level events. The qualifying tournament, beginning October 1st, will determine the final four singles players in the field.
