RETURNS TO NATOMAS RACQUET CLUB
IN SACRAMENTO
 
USTA Men's $100,000 Challenger begins October 1
 
SACRAMENTO, September 3, 2011- The USTA announced that the Natomas Racquet Club in Sacramento will host the 3rd Annual USTA Men's $100,000 Challenger October 1 - 9. This tournament, a USTA Pro Circuit event is the largest tennis event in Northern California and attracts many players fresh from the U.S. Open.
 
The field for the USTA Men's $100,000 Challenger in Sacramento will feature 32 singles players and 16 doubles teams. Players ranked as high as No. 50 in the world typically compete in Challenger-level events. The qualifying tournament, beginning October 1st, will determine the final four singles players in the field.

With more than 90 tournament throughout the country and prize money ranging from $10,000 to $100,000, the USTA Pro Circuit is the pathway to the US Open and tour-level competition for aspiring tennis players and a frequent battleground for established professionals.
